Chemical Peels

A chemical peel is a technique used to improve and smooth the texture of the skin. Facial skin is mostly treated, and scarring can be improved. Chemical peels are intended to remove the outermost layers of the skin. To accomplish this task, the chosen peel solution induces a controlled injury to the skin.

We cater to a vast range of skin types & skin concerns. Peels are not suitable for people who have allergies to aspirin, extremely sensitive skin or severely thinned & compromised skin.

Following on from a peel you can find your skin to be slightly red - this will subside within 24-48 hours. You will then begin to notice dryness - which are dead skin cells that are shedding due to the peel.

A course of treatments and recommended skin care products are usually required to achieve optimal results. This can all be discussed in a consultation.
